Set at the edge of an arboretum with forest views on one side as well as impressive views of the rolling Shropshire hills on the other, the decked exterior is the perfect place for that morning cuppa or evening tipple. 

Inside this off grid yurt you can find a wood-burning stove, comfy double bed, dining area, plus a single ring gas stove, perfect for making a hot drink or reheating a tasty meal. Fairy lights and candles add to the romantic feel of the yurt whilst hot water bottles and extra logs are supplied for cosiness. Please be aware if booking at the start or end of the season, it can get chilly, so be prepared when packing or simply enjoy extra cosy snuggles with your loved one. 

An old hen house nearby has been converted into a WC with a flushing toilet and sink, plus there is a shower block on site for guests use and a small yet fully functioning communal kitchen area. The yurt shares an area with others on site where you can enjoy a game of table tennis or badminton or simply relax around the campfire! Why not bring your own BBQ for that true holiday feel. 

Locally there is plenty to explore - and lots to keep your dog happy! The surrounding area to the site also offers a wealth of attractions, including historic castles and quaint market villages aplenty.

Is there a fridge in the yurt?

No but we have a communal freezer in the Estate office so if you wish to bring a cool box you can refreeze your blocks here.

What should I bring with me?

Please bring towels, toiletries, warm clothes, sturdy footwear/wellies and a torch. If visiting in summer, a picnic blanket and some insect repellent may be handy.
