Les Templiers

Collioure, L'Occitanie, France

A historic hotel in beautiful Collioure with a story to tell through the artwork that fills every wall.

Description

The Hotel 'Les Templiers' is like an open window on Collioure.

Collioure, a mythical place of encounter on the border of the Mediterranean sea and at the foot of the Pyrenees, is a city of painters, artists who all left a mark of their passage and their friendship for the hostelry Les Templiers in the gallery of paintings that cover the walls.

The souls of Rene and Pauline Pous remain in this special place. From Picasso to Duffy, Mucha to Survage, they all tasted the Banyuls served by Rene while waiting for Pauline's bouillabaisse or capon. The hotel has become a story of art and friendship passed down from father to son.

Here generations or painters and sculptors have left behind theme signs of friendship in this hotel. Each and every room, lounge, corridor shows some 2000 original works.
