Mill Farm Shepherds Hut is located at Mill Farm Country Park in Skipsea, on the East Yorkshire Coast and sleeps 2 people. Tents, caravans and motorhomes are also accommodated on this family run park, open from mid-March until the beginning of October.
A 3-minute walk from the park will take you to Skipsea village where there is a mini supermarket/post office, a pub with food and drink, a breakfast café, there is a church and the site of a motte and bailey castle, built on an Iron age Hill. On the edge of the village, there is an ice cream parlour and tearoom.
A short walk away in the other direction brings you to the sea.
Hornsea, Driffield, Beverley and Bridlington are nearby.
The shepherd's hut is equipped with a large double bed, wardrobe, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge, dab radio, heater with a welcome pack of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and a pint of local produced milk. On-site facilities include toilets, washbasins, showers, electric sockets, indoor room for washing up, free hot water and a play/games field.
No pets and No Smoking, please. Only microwave cooking is allowed in the Shepherds Hut.
An overnight package including linen, bedding, towels and tea towels is £71 a night.
An overnight package not including bedding, pillows, duvets, linen, towels or tea towels costs £61 a night.
There is a discount of £7.50 on a three-night stay, please note this does not apply at Bank Holidays
Extras such as solar fairy lights and bunting are priced at £6.00 each per stay - if it is a special occasion and you order the bunting the owner can put up a happy birthday or anniversary bunting.
2-night minimum booking for Bank Holidays and weekends from 29th July to 10th September, there is a discount of £55 if you stay for 7 nights.
