Rye's white smock windmill is a grade II listed building and one of the town's most famous landmarks. Standing on the banks of the river Tillingham, this welcoming Bed and Breakfast is ideally located with the town and Strand Quay, with all its shops, restaurants, tearooms and pubs, just a two minute walk away.

Rye Windmill B&B offers guests a four star licensed accommodation with guaranteed and free car parking, a huge asset in Rye.

Rye Windmill provides guests with ten comfortable rooms, all with very spacious en-suites. Two of the rooms are actually in the windmill itself, creating a truly unique and luxurious place to stay.

Each room has a colour T.V. with digital box, a hot drinks tray, mineral water and other thoughtful touches.

Rooms for 2 start at £80 a night, with a 2-night minimum stay over a weekend to include a Saturday night. Rooms in the windmill start from £135 a night for a 2 night midweek stay and from £150 if a single night stay. Some rooms have river views. All prices include a cooked breakfast. Ask for single supplement rates. Small well behaved dogs are welcome for a £5 charge in the ground floor rooms. Loved this historic town with book and coffee and crafty shops, seaford restaurants and cobbled streets.
On a recent trip there I visited Rye Windmill and was shown around by Toby the friendly owner. It is a beautiful property, well maintained. Rooms are lovely, some with river view or a 4 poster or the suite at the top of the windmill has access to the panoramic balcony. A lovely base and hearty breakfast to set you up to explore this area.
