FAQs
No but we have a farm shop on site where you can buy local produce or pick up a locally produced ready meal.
Can we get a food delivery to the pod?Yes, Tesco, Sainsburys and Asda will deliver. We can also organise private chefs to cook up a storm for you for a special occasion. You can also order food from our local cafe Humbie Hub to be in your Pod upon arrival.
Is the BBQ hut easy to use?Yes, but if you have any issues Damian is on site to help!
Can you see the stars? We have wonderful dark skies in winter, we are in a very low light pollution area and keep outdoor lights to a minimum around the farm. On a clear night the stars are stunning.
Are there things to do?Yes! If you can tear yourself away from the hot tub and peace and quite you can go and meet all our animals such as the alpacas, Shetland ponies, goats and pigs. You can come to the Pop up coffee shop on a Sunday morning, walk around our 5k treasure trail, walk to our pond, or walk around the windmill walk. You could drive to a local Scottish Borders market town, visit a castle, hire an E-bike or paddle-board for an adventure. There is so much to do if you would like!
Do we need to bring anything? Most things are included. We do suggest some solid footwear in winter and maybe a hat. It is Scotland after all!
Is it private? We pride ourselves on providing peaceful private holidays. There are two glamping pods in their own walled field set very far apart. Yes it is private and peaceful.
Who owns the Pods?We are a family run business. Carol and Martin began the self-catering side of the farm 15 years ago and now Damian and Elisabeth ( daughter and son-in-law) are also onboard. We enjoy welcoming guests to our family farm and ensuring they love it here just as much as we do!
