  • There are 2 restaurants on site, one offering cuisine made from organic local produce, the other sushi.
  • Locally you can try kayaking, hiking or seasonal whale watching.

Situated on the Big Sur, Treebones Resort is family run with 16 yurts, a campsite (you can either bring your own tent or they will provide one) & a "Human Nest" and "Twig Hut" for 2! All set in a stunning location with the best ocean views.

Experience hikes from the campsite, ocean kayaking, enjoy the local beaches & wildlife. It is approximately an hours drive south to Hearst Castle. Resort amenities include outdoor yoga, an organic garden, massages, an outdoor sushi bar and a heated ocean view pool & hot tub. There is also a restaurant and general store.

Choose between 16 yurts, 5 campsites, the "Human Nest" or the new "Twig Hut". Each yurt contains a queen size bed with colourful quilts, electric lighting, pinewood floors, heating and a sink with hot and cold water. They are built with raised decks and chairs facing the ocean. Some of the yurts will comfortably fit a family. The washrooms are a short walk away.

The "Human Nest" and "Twig Hut" are elevated human sized bird nests with a futon and view of the Pacific. They are not waterproof so you may need a tent on standby. These are hand woven structures with the Twig Hut being two storey with amazing ocean views and a big futon pad inside. Both this and the "Human Nest" have a 2 night minimum stay. You must be 18 or over to sleep in either. Please bring sleeping bags for these accommodations. They have access to washrooms and cooking areas a short walk away.

Fires are not permitted. No pets allowed. During peak season there is a 2 night minimum stay. Children aged 6 years and above welcome. Arrive at least 2 hours before sunset.

WiFi available in the Lodge. No pets. Children aged 13+ only.
