Welcome to Withy Mills Farm, nestling in the fold of the Cam Valley. Enjoy a relaxing holiday experience in this stunning location; 3 unusual cottages, sympathetically restored from stone barns provide wonderful accommodation for 21st-century living. All the comforts of 4-star properties including whirlpool baths (almost a hot tub), underfloor heating, WiFi access, king-sized beds and wood burning fires. Each garden has a wooden table and chairs. There's also a shepherd's hut for 2 extra guests.

Just 7 miles from Bath and 12 from Bristol, the location is great for exploring.

Whippletree Cottage sleeps 4. Raw brickwork, green oak timbers, and wooden stairs leading to a double bedroom on a mezzanine floor into the roof with views. Downstairs provides a second bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen and open-plan seating and dining areas.

Wharfingers Cottage was originally a milking parlour and now provides accommodation for 2 on one floor with one internal step. There is a well-equipped kitchen and living area, spacious bathroom with corner whirlpool bath large enough for 2, and the bedroom with king-sized bed, beams and view out over the Mendip Hills.

The Engine House was once the stables and has been converted to a cosy studio suitable for 2 with a garden to the rear of the property furnished with wood table and chairs. The kitchen/dining room is on the ground floor but is open above to the green oak rafters. A well-equipped kitchen and living room with two comfy settees and a wood burning stove. Climb the cast iron spiral staircase to the hayloft with a large bed.

Now the cowshed has been converted to a ground floor self-catering apartment for 2 guests called Barleycorn. It has an open-plan kitchen/living area with oak table with 4 chairs, double bedroom and bathroom with walk-in shower. There is WiFi and underfloor heating throughout.

The shepherd's hut has a large bed that can fold away to seating during the day. Although insulated there is no internal heating so it is generally used in the warmer months, and in conjunction with one of the cottages so the guests can use the kitchen and bathroom off it. It is fully wired with sockets, lights and fire alarm.

The Piggery houses the laundry facilities.

On arrival, you are greeted with a traditional cream tea.

Plenty of wildlife and farm animals can be seen during your stay. As a working farm, dogs cannot visit but indoor pets may be possible.

Groups are welcome of 12 in the four cottages and the shepherd's hut. There is only space for a group to eat together outside.

Weekly bookings run from Friday or Monday. Short breaks are also possible for a minimum of 3/4 nights (weekend or midweek). Prices start at £265 for a short break and £345 for a week in Wharfingers. Peak season rates for 7 nights in Whippletree reach £745. Barley Corn has prices from £240 for a short break.
