We love it when our property owners come up with something totally unique and former transport stays offer a truly original type of staycation. From buses to train carriages, airplanes to gypsy caravans and even helicopters, there is definitely something for everyone! 
1. Titan Treasure, Carmarthenshire
Fabulous renovated double decker bus sleeps up to 6 guests with al fresco seating area with countryside views. There are 2 double bedrooms on the top floor with an en-suite toilet, plus a sofa bed on the bottom floor sleeps an extra two. There are good kitchen facilities and a sitting area that turns into a dining area if you need to eat indoors. The "Bus Stop" cabin just outside holds your private shower and WC. There is a hot tub on site that you can book for a relaxing treat. Dogs welcome.
2. Gulliver the Quirky Camper, Kent
Funky jungle themed static camper van sleeps 2 and comes complete with a great private garden area with hot tub, firepit and al fresco TV. The camper has a cosy double bed area, kitchenette with dining area and even a mini wood burner for warmth, great for winter stays. Just off the garden is your private bathroom hut with travel themed decor and unique open air bucket shower.
3. The Bodiam Coach, East Sussex
Retreat to the countryside and enjoy a stay for up to 5 guests in this gorgeous historic coach set in Bodiam Station close to Bodiam Castle. The carriage has a cosy living area that leads out onto the lovely terrace with access down to the garden. There is a fully equipped kitchen and BBQ for al fresco cooking plus a double bedroom with 1960's styling, a twin bedroom and a sofabed. 4. Super Yacht Temptation, Hampshire
Enjoy a luxury stay on this 60ft classic motor yacht moored in Southampton. Converted plane sleeps up to 4 guests near the coast at Skegness. Inside there is a full size double bed behind the dashboard with a smaller sleeping area at the back of the plane, ideal for children. The centre offers a bench style seating area and there is underfloor heating to keep you warm and cosy. Outside you can enjoy dining al fresco at the picnic bench with kitchen and shower facilities available just a few steps away. This is a unique holiday that all ages will love.
6. Mevy the Victorian Slip Coach, Cornwall
Stylish restored slip carriage sleeps up to 5 guests in St. Germans near the South Cornwall coastline. There is a great seating and dining area inside with a well equipped kitchen. The master bedroom has a sumptuous first class style with a second triple bunk bed for children. Outside you can enjoy drinks on your private terrace or stoke up the BBQ for some al fresco cuisine. Whilst here you can take a stroll into the local village where there is a friendly shop and post office, ideal for sending off your postcards.
Enjoy a unique stay in this AirBus A320 fuselage with your loved one. With original aircraft seating, cabin windows and quirky welcome mat, you can experience flight without leaving the ground. The cosy double bedroom area comes complete with reading lights and there is a well equipped shower room too, plus a compact kitchenette with double electric hob. Outside you can dine al fresco, relax in your private hot tub, or book a session in the communal sauna or BBQ hut. Locally the infamous Loch Ness is just a short drive away.
8. The Cruckmill Wagon, Shropshire
This unique converted living wagon offers a tranquil rural escape for 2 with dogs welcome, near Shrewsbury. The interior holds a comfy double bed, dining area and kitchenette for basic cooking. Outside you can sit back and relax, taking in the sights and sounds of the sheep in the next door field, look out for birds from the hide or lie back and enjoy a snooze in the double camoflage hammock. There is a great pub within walking distance and on the way back you can take a paddle in the babbling brook before returning to the wagon.
9. Vintage American Airstream, Devon
Fabulous 1956 American Airstream with Japanese wood fired hot tub and hammock for a relaxing stay near Totnes! The interior of the airstream has gorgeous styling with retro touches for that original feel. You can relax on the comfy leather sofa and dine in the fully equipped kitchen with dining table before falling into your comfy luxury double bed with Egyptian cotton sheets at the end of the day. Whilst here be sure to take a stroll to the waterside Ferry Boat Inn for a delicious meal and refreshing drink.
10. Windmill Campersite, Isle of Wight
Awesome unique site on the Isle of Wight offers a range of unusual properties including the incredible Galahad the helicopter as pictured above. Sleeping 4 guests it is well equipped with a kitchen, dining area, mini cloakroom and small bedroom inside plus an extra bedroom alongside it. The other transport property on site is a unique submarine, James Bond style which sleeps 2 guests.
