The Quirky Tour
Unusual shepherd's hut conversion that makes for a comfortable stay for a couple with a pullout bed or foldout the bunks for a family - I liked this set up as it creates plenty of indoor space during the daytime.
This is set with another hut in lots of open space on a sheep farm, with tranquil views to a loch.

Description
Beautiful modern handcrafted shepherd's hut that sleeps 2 adults and 2 children set on a family run sheep farm near Dunfermline.
Aptly named Lamb Lookout, the hut enjoys a south facing position overlooking the beautiful Loch Fitty. Benefitting from all mod cons including a shaker kitchen with fridge, hob and oven plus a full shower room the hut offers true comfort. Brilliant folding down beds, including a double which covers the dining table and bunks that fold down from the wall mean that the hut offers space when needed during the day. A woodburning stove keeps the hut toasty warm but it also has electric heating as well as being fully insulated and double glazed! Add to this that there are electric sockets plus a DVD player and you won't want to leave!
Outside the hut you can find a firepit and seating, perfect for a spot of stargazing or toasting yummy marshmallows! Kiddies will love collecting fresh eggs from the hens in the morning before playing in the mud kitchen in the afternoon. With lots of space to run around, nature to explore and animals to watch, this truly is a great place to kick back and reconnect with your loved ones and with nature whilst enjoying a digital detox!
The hut is situated on a working sheep farm and the owners offer a complimentary farm tour to guests who are interested.
Locally there is plenty to do including activities at Craigluscar Activity centre, pottery painting at The Ceramic Cafe and a visit to Deep Sea World at South Queensferry. A little further afield is beautiful Edinburgh where you can visit the famous castle as well as shop till you drop, the choice is yours!
