Come and see the Northern Lights and the beautiful nature that surrounds this fabulous cottage on the north coast of Scotland. Sleeping 5 it offers a great getaway for couples or a family. 

This unique single storey cottage is adjacent to the lighthouse tower at Strathy Point, Sutherland and has 2 double bedrooms and one single bedroom. There is oil central heating to keep you warm and cosy in this dramatic location and as well as a lounge and fully equipped kitchen there is also a cosy snug for those evenings when you just want to just chill out with a good book. 

The views from this property are stunning in every location from the Atlantic sea to the inland loch with nature all around you. Spot the ever playful seals and dolphins and keep an eye open for the majesty of the whales gliding by on their annual pilgrimage.

Locally you can visit many historical sites and try your hand at a number of outdoor sports including horse-riding, sailing, kayaking and golf.  Be sure to have your photo taken at the John O' Groats signpost before taking a trip to Rock Rose Gin distillery for some tasters. Alternatively hop in your car and explore some of the stunning NC500 route. 

2 night minimum stay. Saturday arrivals and 7 night stays only in August.

No pets. Children welcome, but over 8's recommended due to location.
