Stunning waterside location for this 2 bedroom lodge for 4. Children aged 10+. Lakeside within the New Forest National Park. Can add tree-tent for 2.

The 2 bedroom Riverside Lodge for 4 and an extra tree-tent for 2 people in an idyllic setting within the New Forest National Park, sat on the edge of a small lake with views across the River Avon to the water meadows beyond from the front and an ancient woodland to the rear.

Despite being in a secluded and peaceful location, it's only a short distance till you reach many stores and cafes. Within 1 mile there is the nearest pub and restaurant. The closest airport is Southampton, and Bournemouth is 20 miles away, and Salisbury train station is 15 miles away. For a trip to the beach, you can go to Bournemouth.

The Lodge consists of a double bedroom with a super king-sized bed that can be converted into 2 singles, a twin bedroom, 2 bathrooms and an open plan lounge/ diner/ kitchen area. The beautifully furnished building also has underfloor heating throughout, high ceilings, a wood burner, bi-fold doors onto a verandah. The tree-tent is available if booking the lodge to accommodate 2 extra people, bring your own bedding/ sleeping bag. 

As a self-catering accommodation, everything that you would need during your stay is provided. This includes a cafetiere, dishes and utensils, a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, oven, hob, toaster, fridge. There is also extras such as a hairdryer, internet, Sky TV (in the lounge and main bedroom), DVD player, stereo, an iron and board and fresh linen and towels are provided.

Along with the many sport and adventure activities to participate in nearby, there are many great leisure activities and attractions to do/ try, including bird watching, horse riding, scenic drives, sightseeing and of course fishing on the River Avon, there are many scenic walks to do around the area of the Lodge.

NO PETS. No smoking, Car parking for 2 cars. Not suitable for children under 10 or those less mobile as it is quite a steep walk down to the Lodge from the parking area. A trolley is provided to help with taking luggage down to the Lodge from the car park about 80 yards away.

Prices are from £137 per night with a minimum of a 3/4-night break with Monday and Friday changeover days. £1,042 per week off peak, £1,295 peak, £1,395 for Christmas.

The tree-tent for 2 extra people is £350 per week or £225 for a weekend or midweek break.
