Private log cabin perched on the cliff above Portholland. The perfect escape with only the sounds of the waves & birds, sleeps couple or 2+2.
Seaspray Log Cabin is perched on the cliffs overlooking the sea at East Portholland Bay on Cornwall's Roseland Peninsula and is surrounded by mature terraced gardens.
The approach to the cabin is an adventure in itself as it can only be reached on foot, part of the route is a steep climb as it meanders through cliffside gardens! Guests once parked in the village carpark will be met with a wheelbarrow for which to transport possessions up to the cabin.
The cliff cabin is split into 2 areas: The front room accessed just off the decking area has large panoramic windows and glazed French doors bringing the outside in. Inside there is a glorious fat-bellied wood burner, wall mounted TV and WiFi. Moving through other glazed doors guests will find the bedroom/living area with a comfortable double sofa bed and bunk beds providing sleeping for 2 adults, and 2 children if required. Off this room is a wet room with shower, basin and WC plus well equipped kitchen.
The stunning areas outside the cabin have been nurtured over many years by the owner. With many artistic touches, a totem pole oversees the grassy terraces, carved mushrooms and shell and stone sculptures peaking through the semi-tropical plants provide the perfect hide and seek places for the children to thoroughly enjoy. For alfresco dining, there is a BBQ so you can cook whilst taking in the breathtaking views of the sea and Portholland.
Seaspray Cliff Cabin is the perfect retreat for families who love an adventure with total privacy in natural surroundings. There is also a B&B option on site within a cosy cottage.
The cabin has a minimum booking of 4 nights with Saturday arrivals. Price per night is £85 with a weekly price of £600.
