Gorgeous 20ft oak clad shepherd's hut offers a tranquil escape from the stresses of life allowing families of four to enjoy a fun escape whilst enjoying stunning views near Settle. 

The hut is named after a local breed of sheep and offers luxury living in a private space next to woodland. Inside there is a cosy and very comfy double bed that comes with feather and down pillows and a warm duvet plus fold down bunkbeds for the kiddies that they will love. The wood burning stove will be sure you keep cosy whilst the handmade kitchenette offers everything you need for a perfect self-catering getaway. Cook up a delicious meal using the microwave-oven, hob and toaster and enjoy dining al fresco on your private picnic table. Back inside you can snuggle up and watch the Smart TV whilst enjoying the complimentary tea and coffee or sit at the table and enjoy a family fun game - be sure to bring this with you. The en-suite shower room offers plenty of hot water to wash away your long day of exploring. 

Whilst here be sure to try and spot some of the amazing wildlife which you can share pictures of using the free wifi and great phone signal. Of course, a digital detox is fully recommended too, so switch off your device for a while and reconnect with the beauty of the area. By night you can light the fire pit and have fun telling stories or singing typical camp fire songs whilst toasting some delicious gooey marshmallows. 

Locally you can explore the Yorkshire Dales National Park or Forest of Bowland Area of Natural Beauty. Both offer caves, waterfalls and nature trails so you can enjoy working up an appetite before visiting one of the local pubs just a short drive for your hut. 

Children welcome.

Up to 3 dogs are welcome but will be staying in a kennel down at the farm not in the hut with you. The charge for this is £7 per dog per night. 

Why not book some extras for your stay! A late departure at £10, Celebration Box for £30 with decorations and Prosecco or a Breakfast Box for £10 or £20. If you are celebrating or just deserve a little pampering then the Luxury Treat Box for those extra special occasions includes a luxury breakfast, bouquet of flowers, Prosecco, chocolates and extra coffee pods as well as charcoal, marshmallows and skewers! 

There is a minimum 2 night stay with Monday, Wednesday and Friday arrival except from July 15th to the end of August when there are Monday and Friday arrivals only.

FAQs

Can I check in early or check out late?

We don't offer an early check in due to rigorous cleaning but you can check out an hour later for an extra £10.

Do you allow dogs to stay?

We don't allow dogs in the huts but they can stay in our well equipped kennels where an evening meal is included for them! This costs an extra £7 per night.

Can I bring my bike?

Yes we have free bike storage available for you to use.

Can we bring our own charcoal?

We supply all that so you don't have to bring it with you, it costs £10 for a charcoal pack which includes everything you need to light the BBQ firepit.

Can we have a cot for a baby?

Yes let us know if you need one and we will have it in the hut for when you arrive. This is free of charge.
