“I started QuirkyAccom.com in 2011 to ensure you don't have to stay in an ordinary hotel again! We make it simple for you to search (use the icons), price and book unusual places to stay in the UK, directly with the owner. In doing so you are helping others as we give our profits to charities. There are no hidden costs or service fees added.” Jess CEO & Founder of QuirkyAccom.com
"A much-loved county stretching in to the South West of England, Cornwall is a fabulous holiday destination due particularly to its laid-back attitude to life and stunning beaches.
Add surfing, Scrumpy cider, pasties, cream teas and more culinary treats at Padstow, Port Isaac and St Ives, walking the coastal path, The Eden Project, St Michael's Mount, Gardens of Heligan, Bodmin Moor and more!
There are so many pretty coastal towns to visit - St Ives, Bude, Fowey, Hayle, Newquay, Looe...and we can help you discover gorgeous unusual places to stay.
From cottages with hot tubs to custom made shepherd's huts, railway carriage stays to glamping pods, QuirkyAccom has been helping guests find the right accommodation for them since 2011."
What do our customers think about a Cornwall holiday?
"This was our second stay and despite some very rainy weather, had an even better stay than the first. We love the location, being able to go on beautiful walks including round Cotehele.
The art shop and care are great and a meal in the Tamar Inn was very tasty. The cottage is so peaceful with only barn owl hoots to break the silence. Eating breakfast overlooking the beautiful river and valley was wonderful. We've booked again already."
"The Old Luggage Van is compact but very well equipped including a very comfortable double bed, a very efficient shower with loads of hot water, and a cosy lounge area. Plenty of local information and a guide to a very easy walk around St Germans which is well worth doing.
A local pub, excellent restaurant and well-equipped local (not-for-profit) shop all within walking distance. Trains to Plymouth, Exeter, Truro, Looe and many points east and west depart from within 20 metres of the OLV and are well-worth using.
This is a very "green" oriented facility, including a biomass boiler and on-site recycling; and a "help yourself" herb garden. Definitely one to return to next year."
